Auto Guide Awnings

The system allows the blind to be raised and lowered to any position by sliding the arms on the guide rods. This flexibility allows you to better control the amount of light entering through a window.

The Auto Guide Awning is a simple, robust awning. One of the main strengths of an Auto Guide Awning is that it does not project far from the wall, so if a path or driveway is close to the window, the awning will not obstruct access. The awning covers the entire window, so it is suitable for facing any direction for sun protection. This awning is suitable for windy Highland conditions as it has the ability to retract itself. The control mechanism is a self-locking arm that allows for easy adjustment by hand or by a pull stick.

We use fabrics manufactured to suit Australian conditions, thus making them durable enough to last. Similarly, there is an extensive range of colours, styles and designs to suit any design or taste.

Auto Locking Arms are available in 150 and 300 projections. The greater projection will give greater ventilation through an open window and can be up to a height of four metres from the ground.

The top roller can be covered by a hood. The hood and front rail are roll-formed COLORBOND® steel, and all other components are galvanised steel.

Fixed Awnings & Canopies

Fixed awnings protect your valuable carpet, curtains and furniture from the fading effects of ultraviolet rays, as well as reduce the heat load and cooling costs of your home during the summer. The result is more comfort during the day and quicker cooling at night.

Fixed awnings are made of extruded aluminium or metal frames (which can be powder-coated) that are shaped by a computerised bender. They can be mounted over windows or doorways of homes, shops and restaurants and can also be integrated with illuminated signage to promote your business.

Our wide range of fixed awnings and canopies are perfect for patios or commercial spaces where protection from rain and sun is essential. These awnings consist of cupolas, door canopies and Dutch hoods.

Folding Arm Awnings

These are retractable awnings that provide a fashionable extension of your shaded living area. This makes them particularly suitable for a terrace, patio, courtyard, balcony or large floor-to-ceiling windows.

Folding arm awnings can be manually adjusted from a horizontal to an almost vertical position by simple crank-handle operation. Folding arm awnings allow for either single-operation pitch control or an individual arm operation if necessary.

When folding arm awnings are extended, the shaded space is completely unobstructed by posts or beams. Should you fully retract the awning, it will neatly fit onto a roller tube, leaving no unsightly structures. These awnings are not recommended to be used during strong wind and heavy rain.

Pivot Arm Awnings

Pivot arm awnings are ideal for shading a huge variety of windows.

Pivot arm awnings shade the window yet allow the air to flow around it, which makes them ideal for those hard-to-reach windows operated via an external crank or motor. They operate by arms pivoting in an arc which moves fabric to extend and retract. The benefits are a larger area between the awning and window which enables greater air circulation while still allowing wind-out windows to open.

Available also in clear PVC, straight drop awnings are designed to maximise the use of your outdoor areas all year round without necessarily creating a visual barrier.

Straight drop awnings are custom-created to suit your specific requirements and serve as temporary partitions for outdoor areas for protection against rain and temperature. Straight drop awnings can help prevent discomfort from draughts, wind and rain, which can be a seasonal problem.

They virtually add an extra room onto your home and are easy to expand and retract, with many different options. These are also available for shop fronts.

Ziptrak® Straight Drop Awnings

Ziptrak® straight drop awnings are part of a new range of next-generation outdoor blinds made specifically for patio, café and verandah areas. Unlike other styles, the fabric on Ziptrak® blinds is restrained in aluminium side channels, making the product easy to use, highly windproof and modern.

Ziptrak® outside blinds are custom-made to suit patio areas and windows. The product is generally spring-operated and can be easily lifted by hand. With no zippers, cords or winders, the Ziptrak® system is one of the easiest and most elegant blinds in our outdoor range.

One advantage of track-guided systems such as Ziptrak® is that they create a strong barrier to wind, rain and heat. This makes them perfect for closing off outdoor spaces and making them more inviting as entertaining areas. The Ziptrak® track-guided blind system has specially designed aluminium tracks in which the blind moves smoothly and easily up and down. The blind can be secured and locked in the down position to guard against winds. No ropes, pulleys or handles are required.

Louvered Roof Systems

Louvered roofs are adjustable roofing systems with horizontal slats or panels that control sunlight and ventilation.
